Air Control started in 2016 by two refrigeration mechanics whom worked side by side at another company, contracted to the Coles Myer contract. With a few clients, a couple of work vehicles; we have adapted and grown in many ways in 7 short years.

Air Control Pty opened its electrical division in 2018, after one of our mechanical clients approached us to assist in Townsville after the cyclone. From one sparky in Townsville for 9 months, we now have 12 Electricians and Electrical Apprentices. Don't worry, our mechanical division is also stronger than ever!

Michael Barnes, remaining founder and Director; is supported by Sharee Lutzke to lead a team of 23 full-time staff and a large network of sub-contractors all across QLD and north NSW. 

​

Our day ranges from multi-million dollar projects, to assisting a sub-contractor in Cairns gain access to a shopping centre roof for service work. One day we are concreting, the next day, craning 3T chillers into place. We send staff inter-state for project work and have been known as 'storm chasers' for insurance repairs.

Whatever the project, Air Control's strength is its team and their broad range of experience that money can't buy. We come to work each day to support each other, achieve beyond the results expected and win the day.
